Zsanett Gréta Papp

Zsanett Gréta Papp is a geopolitical analyst as well as an energy and climate policy expert whose work focuses on the Arctic, European energy security, and the geopolitics of the global energy transition. She holds degrees in International Relations from Eötvös Loránd University and Geopolitical Studies from Charles University, and her research examines the Arctic's strategic role in strengthening the EU's autonomy amid shifting geoeconomic and environmental conditions. Zsanett was a visiting researcher at the University of Greenland (Ilisimatusarfik) in 2023, where she gained on-site experience by living and conducting research among Greenlandic Inuit indigenous communities.

She works as a Science for Policy expert. Previously, she worked at Hungary's Ministry of Energy on EU climate diplomacy, just transition initiatives, and led European climate negotiations during the Hungarian EU Presidency in 2024. Alongside her policy work, Zsanett has also served as an Arctic Research Analyst with London Politica and is a published author on Arctic geopolitics, critical raw materials, and EU climate policy. Her broader professional and academic activities reflect a commitment to integrating scientific insight, strategic foresight, and inclusive leadership into Europe's green transition.
